Все, що закладається в дитину в цьому віці, зберігається впродовж всього людського життя. У молодших класах мають працювати особливі люди, знаючи, творчі, з розвинутим почуттям людяності і відповідальності»

Сільська школа – це острівець культури на селі, яку нікому піднімати крім самої школи, зразок високої моральності, центр духовного життя односельців. Вона може бути тільки тоді, коли головними рисами сільського вчителя будуть розвинені почуття відповідальності, національної гордості, світлої любові до дітей, до рідного краю, до своєї Вітчизни»
